Where do I pick up my t-shirt and race bib?

Early race packet pick-up will take place on Saturday, June 3rd from 2-4PM outside of Entrance #2 at Lutheran Medical Center, 8300 W. 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Click here to view a map of Lutheran Medical Center's campus.

All registrants can also pick up their packets at Registration and Race Day Packet Pickup from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, June 4 at Heroes of Hope before the run/walk events begin.

Where is the event?

All registration, Cancer Survivors Celebration events, race start and finish lines and Health and Safety Expo activities will take place in Lot C on the west side of Lutheran Medical Center. Download a map of Lutheran Medical Center's campus.

Where do I park?

Parking is available on the Lutheran Medical Center campus at 8300 West 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge. Please access the campus from West 38th Avenue. Please follow the special event signage and park in the lots surrounding entrances 7, 8, 9 and 10. Volunteers are available to assist with directions to handicapped and special VIP/Survivors parking and will provide shuttle service for participants who prefer not to walk. Download a map of Lutheran Medical Center's campus.

What happens if it rains? 

The event is scheduled rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.

Is the race timed? 

The 5K and 10K race timing is done by Hallucination Sports.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes, children of all ages and strollers are welcome! Please be respectful and courteous of other runners and walkers.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, well-behaved dogs are allowed and must be on a leash at all times! Please pick up after your pet throughout the course and event locations, and please help your pet be respectful and courteous of other runners and walkers at all times.

Where can I view results?

Following the race, results will be available on our Results page, or by downloading and using the free Hallucination Sports Apple or Android apps. To download the Apple app, visit the Apple iTunes store here. To download the Android app, visit the Google Play store here.

Are there any accommodations if I need assistance in getting from my vehicle to the event area? 

Yes. The Lutheran Medical Center Volunteers will provide courtesy golf carts to assist those in need with transportation. Look for the carts near reserved handicapped parking lots and volunteers dressed in green!

Where do I check-in if I am a cancer survivor? 

Survivors will check in for the event with runners and walkers at the Registration Tents. 

Are there any special cancer survivor activities? 

Yes! Heroes of Hope is the largest National Cancer Survivors Day event in Jefferson County, and there will be special events throughout the morning to celebrate and acknowledge survivors, their families, health care providers and more. Join us for a Community Brunch, be sure to be recognized during our awards ceremony and group photo, enter to win one of the great door prizes donated by local merchants and businesses, dance and sing along with Chris Daniels and the Kings, visit organizations and businesses serving survivors and their loved ones at our Health and Safety Expo, and meet hundreds of other survivors and families who understand the journey you have been on! In addition, there will be opportunities to visit with the physicians, nurses and staff of the Cancer Centers of Colorado at Lutheran Medical Center.

How can I share this event with my friends?

Will there be food at the event? 

Yes! There is a Community Brunch and post-race refreshments for Heroes of Hope runners/walkers.

Can I register a group of people as a team?

Yes! The team option is found on the Registration page. Enter team name first, then begin registering individual team members. Once team name is created, others can join. Costumes and themes encouraged!

Can I register more than one person at a time?

Yes! You can register more than one person at a time by selecting more than one ticket at registration and entering each attendee's information in full. Additional tickets must include attendee information at time of registration to ensure accurate timing tag information.

If I run in the race, should I stay for the remaining events?

Yes! We have a lot of fun at Heroes of Hope, and the more, the merrier! We encourage you to spend the morning with us. Our great Health and Safety Expo area with music, educational offerings and children's activities is free and open to the public, and you won't want to miss a high-energy live performance from Chris Daniels & the Kings!

Can I bring a bunch of my family and friends to the event?

Yes! The more people who join us the better! Please encourage additional guests to register for the events in which they plan to participate. Guests who do not wish to participate in the Run/Walk events but who still want to celebrate should register as a non-racer during registration so we know how many people to expect!
